Today I got to photograph this cute little guy. The weather was a bit miserable, so we were confined indoors. Lucky for me, his mum and dad had a great blue wall in their bedroom and some gorgeous wooden inspirational words hung on their feature wall. They are such a sweet family, you can really feel the love in the room. Ethan was such a daddy’s boy, listening for his voice and quieting when he spoke.

I got to photograph the captivating Summer Rae today. I worked with her mum Belinda at my old job and it was lovely to see her again and catch up. Belinda wanted to get some photos of Summer Rae in her christening outfit – so we managed to squeeze the little darling into it. It was a bit snug, and she was not entirely happy, but I was delighted with the photos we got. After the outfit, we figured it was time to get the gear off and give her some freedom and she absolutely loved that! Then we got the smiles and giggles!

I later received an email from Belinda after she saw a few of the images from the session. She said…

“Oh my…. I literally have a tear in my eye… I just fell in love with her all over again…. 
 They are absolutely amazing, you did such an awesome job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Marque Lawyers asked me to come up with a fun concept and design for the invitations to the launch of their new premises. As usual their brief is to produce something that does not look like it has come from a law firm. The image we used on the back came from their interior designers Siren Design and it will be incorporated into their new office space – which, to be honest, is one of the most beautiful, unique and interesting office spaces I’ve ever seen.

I cant wait to do more work with these guys – they are so refreshingly down to earth!

Jess Broome and I went on a photo playdate today. Sort of like a Trash the Dress session, but in the middle of nowhere at sunset. Sylvana was a trooper, and did everything we asked of her, braving the mozzies and crawling around in the dirt and rocks. She rocked this session and I love the photos I managed to get -especially the first one.

When Sam was here this week, she dropped off her gorgeous red Petti skirt for me to borrow. I couldn’t resist having a bit of a play with it (and Lia) in the back yard. I has also recently bought a white wicker basket on wheels and Lia was all too keen to climb in and ham it up for the camera!

I love the saggy baggy stockings here!

Today I got to meet the 2 week old Owen. Owen had a rough start – his lung collapsed after he was born and he was rushed to the NICU. I felt so sorry for the little guy when I saw the puncture mark on the side of his chest where they had inserted a tube (you can actually see the scar in the photos). He was on good spirits when we met and we managed to capture these for his proud mum and dad.

I used to work at the AZSC. I used to run it before I threw it all in to work from home and be a school mum. After I left I did some temping for them – this was one of those projects. The conceptual was developed by Jo Tan and Sylvana Shehata and I was asked to come back and do the photogrpahy.

Things get unbelievably busy in there some times, and so Costa Avgerinos (the new Client Services Manager) asked me to lend a hand and finish off the collateral in time for a relaunch of their services and capabilities. This included the design for a poster, invitation and the design, layout and copy for a booklet, from which I have chosen a couple of spreads to show.

Sam brought Tatia over today. While we drank numerous cups of tea, Tatia played with the kids toys and afterwards (as all photographer mums do) we chased her around with our cameras! She has the most gorgeous chocolate eyes and beautiful alabaster skin. The pgtails were too swwet! We went out into the garden and tatia was fascinated by the strange moss grwing on the back fence.
