Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing the scrumptious, 11week old Matthew. Matthew wasn’t feeling the best, but still kept me entertained with lots of chatter and sweet gurgles and coos. I managed to capture a few cheeky smiles and those cheeks were just the sweetest thing. His parents had the most amazing terrace garden and the day was so lovely we stepped outside for some candid family shots as well. Here are a few of my favourites from the day.

Back in July I got the chance to work on a new look logo for Kristen Cook, a photographer based in Melbourne. Kristen was an easy client to work with, clear about her likes and dislikes and concise with her requests! Ask any designer – clients like Kristen are a dream to work with.

Kristen was also pregnant at the time and had her hands full with ongoing work and preparing for her new arrival. She welcomed Charlie Aiden earlier this month and has already rebranded her business with the logo which launched today. Here it is – fresh, classy & sophisticated.

Congrats Kristen, and all the very, very best for your business.

I am so proud to have a photo selected for the Australian Breastfeeding Association 2010 Calendar.

The photo was from my very very first official portfolio building session with Marlene and her daughter Holly. Holly is also the baby featured in my banner, sitting in the large bowl. That image has become one of my ‘hero’ images and carries through all of my marketing.

And here she is now on the calendar, featured in September, sharing a quiet intimate moment with her mum, who was clearly besotted with her gorgeous daughter.

Sandra asked me to photograph her for her new website (soon to launch, keep watching this space). She needed a couple of headshots and so we headed out to the backstreets of Surry Hills for a mini session. Sandra had just had her hair done, and she has the most striking colouring – I had the best time post processing these. I am hoping she comes back for many more photo sessions.
