Design for Small Business package ending soon

Earlier this year I released a “Design for Small Business” Package. I’ve had a great response to the offer and have met and worked with some really amazing business owners.

In 2010 however, its time for me to reconsider my workload and as a by-product of that, restructure my pricing into a tiered system. For that reason alone, the notion of a ‘package’ price doesn’t fit into this new system and so from 1st January 2010 the offer will not be available.

For those who have projects underway or have received estimated based on this model, fear not, your projects will continue unaffected. Keep checking in for news on the new tiered model - more to come in the next few weeks.

Regards,
Netra

Maddison and Anika

Megan and I had been trying to schedule this session for a while now. First there was illness in my home, then Megan had a conference on and we finally managed to schedule and keep it – one one of the hottest November days on record!

The session was at 10am and it was already sweltering, so we were unable to do any outdoor shots, lest the children burn to a crisp. Megan had a great back room flooded with natural light which I took full advantage of to capture these shots. Anika did make me work for the smiles, but it was well worth it in the end.

Such a gorgeous family, you can just feel the love in the family photo.

Sophia and Lucy

On Saturday I had the distinct pleasure of photographing these two gorgeous girls. Apart from their cute names, they were equally adorable in person. Sophia and I hit it off right from the start and it didn’t take much to coax a smile once the pettiskirts were on!

It was the first time I’d had a chance to use the teeny-tiny pettis from Marcella Creations in a client session and I was stoked with the results. David and Kath had just bought a gorgeous new home and the front two rooms were a flooded with natural light and white walls – truly a photographers dream to shoot in! All the lovely neutral colours were the perfect backdrop of these shots and I love the peachy tones of the family photos.

The first shot is my absolute favourite from the session. I wish I had one with my girls like it! I’d have it as a giant canvas in the living room *sigh*

David and Kath, enjoy your sneak peek!

NJoy the Moment

I’m delighted to be blogging about a project I’ve been working on for the past couple of months with Narrelle Joy from NJoy the Moment. Narrelle appraoched me for a complete overhaul of her existing business look and feel.

We wanted to focus on something about Narrelle that was unique and memorable – that would stay with prospective clients even after they had left her website, or put the brochure down,

We chose to focus on Narrelle’s second name “Joy” as opposed to her surname and focus the logo and concept on the notions of ‘joy’ and what it means to be joyous. The concept we ended up with was what we termed the ‘bubble of joy’ concept. The O represents a rising bubble of joy and carries through all Narrelle’s collateral, linking all the web and printed material together rather effectively. Narrelle said,

I am so in love with it. I love Netra’s insight to me and my business in guiding me along the process and coming out the other end with something that really reflects my style… so thank you Netra. So much. You’re an absolute champion.”

Birth in Balance

Briony Howland asked me to produc an advert for her local magazine promoting her services. We wanted something fresh, summery and eyecatching. Chantelle Bliss provided the photography once more and this was the end result!
