FAQ

Why should I consult a professional graphic designer?
It’s the same as any other profession in that you can choose the trained professionals who have studied to provide you with the best they can – or you can choose the person who has hung their shingle outside the door with minimal experience and education. While the latter option may work fine in the short term, as your business grows adn expands, you will need the help of a professional to be able to adress your needs and produce outcomes that give you the edge over your competitor.

But I don’t know what I want!
Wonderful! That is great position to start. Netra will be able to work with you through your project to find out what you like and dislike, what is relevant, appropriate and novel at the same time. She will extract all of that information, incoporate it into her concept and commit to a collaborative approach to ensure the best possible outcome for your project.

But I know EXACTLY what I want!
That is ok too. Work with Netra to push your ideas even further. Perhaps there are things you may not have considered? Different applications, different mediums and different audiences all need to be taken into consideration. Often if it is an idea that has been brewing for a while, a fresh pair of eyes (or ears) can make all the difference.

How much does it cost?
Every client, every project is different. Netra doesn’t offer template based solutions and as such there is no standard pricing. You will receive an estimate to approve before incurring any fees so you will have complete control of your project budget. Any deviation will require agreement by both parties and confirmed in writing.

How does it all work?
Netra will initially have a chat to you in person or via phone to establish what your requirements are. At this stage you may bounce some ideas around, discuss your business plans for the year ahead and your vision for the project. Netra will then send through an estimate which will require approval before proceeding and depending on the scale and complexity of the projects, some may require a deposit. Netra will then develop a brief for your project based on your discussions and you are given the opportunity to fine-tune this as you see fit. After the conceptual work is complete, you are supplied with 3 concepts from which you can select one or choose to amalagamate elements from all 3. This goes back and forth a couple of times (like a good dialogue) till you’re happy with the outcome and then this is taken to its final form. If appropriate the project is then supplied on disc or sent to your production house and invoiced.

Who holds the copyright?
Should you wish to hold the rights to reproduce the design at your leisure, please do state this at the initial meeting as this will affect the project estimate. You may also request working files for a past project and the fee for this will be negotiated based on the scope of the project.
