About

I work in the space between strategy and reality.

I’m a senior brand and creative leader with more than 25 years’ experience spanning conceptual creative, brand strategy, transformation and enterprise implementation.

I’ve worked both in-house and externally, from developing the idea through to building the systems that allow it to work across large, complex organisations.

My strength is often in seeing the gap between a good strategy and what it will actually take to make it work. I think beyond the immediate brand or creative problem to the people, processes, commercial realities and organisational behaviours around it.

I believe the strongest brands are built on shared understanding, not rigid rules. The principles need to be clear enough for people to make good decisions independently, and the system robust enough to create consistency while remaining flexible enough to evolve.

That philosophy shapes the way I lead too. I create clarity, set high expectations and give capable people genuine ownership. I believe in trust, transparency and learning from mistakes, and in building teams where people can challenge assumptions, solve problems together and do work they’re proud of.

I’m a conceptual creative at heart, with the business acumen and enterprise experience to turn ideas into systems that work in the real world.

Because ultimately, whether I’m building a brand, a team or an organisational system, the test is the same: does it still work when I’m not in the room?

Having served alongside her on the Senior Leadership Team at BaptistCare, I have had a front-row seat to her exceptional leadership, strategic mindset, and impact across the entire organisation.

As Head of Design, Netra’s influence extended far beyond brand aesthetics. She is a cross-functional collaborator who inherently understands how design serves overarching business and fundraising objectives. At BaptistCare, a complex, multi-million-dollar aged care organisation, she seamlessly led a cross-functional team of 10 through continuous website development and troubleshooting, ensuring our digital presence was always optimised for user experience, content, and functionality. Alongside this, she managed a multi-disciplinary team of five graphic designers, steering creative strategy across both digital and traditional platforms with ease.

One of Netra’s standout achievements was embedding an operational design ecosystem across every division of the business. By introducing structured performance tracking and streamlined workflows, she did not just organise creative output; she transformed how departments collaborated, unlocking massive productivity gains across the organisation.

What truly sets Netra apart at a senior level is her absolute reliability under pressure and her comfort with ambiguity. You can hand her a complex, high-stakes problem with high-level parameters, and she will step into that space with calm confidence, clarity, and trust.

Above all, Netra is a culture-builder. She brought immense warmth, strong ethics, and a grounded, supportive energy to our MarComms team and the broader leadership group. She is a rare blend of strategic vision, operational rigour, and genuine human empathy, and I cannot recommend her highly enough.
